I’ve had great luck as a real rookie- epoxy primer and single stage auto paint... on a $15 “purple gun” from harbor freight Aviation... once ya coat it and are done let it flash off and spray it with a light coat of reducer and it comes out amazing!
Re: Harbor Freight HVLP Spray Gun Info I have 8 or so Binks spray guns, some are $300.00 for just the gun, then add the 2 qrt. and 2 gallon pressure pots. it adds up quick. Yes they are good guns, but unless I'm doing something that requires a great finish and the paint will achieve it, I don't use them much any more.

Harbor freight g/f spray guns are not copies of binks mach1, they are copies of a sata nr92. Binks parts will not work. Just load up the h/f gun and blast it.

I just picked up a gravity spray gun (purple one) that is normally like 40 bucks but was on sale for 15 and it works great for smaller job. also have a bench grinder that works great. Just wished i picked up a bigger one with a little more power but it gets the job done.
